798 Art District in Beijing

WE'RE SO GOD DAAAAMN YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

another old note from a couple months back. thoughts on my visit to the 798 art district in beijing after reading a piece of news on the government raiding of some of the galleries.

KNOW THE CURVES

study them. Ronchamp, France.talked to Chan for 10 minutes. he talked about curves and their significance. they're too significant to be used for mundane purposes. such is the possessiveness of someone who knows. it was inspiring. he talked with passion and deep understanding. I would like to have deep understanding of my passion.

an old note jotted down on my google notepad a few months ago.

the wind-shaken soil of my childhood

it's been awefully hard to work this week since i know too well that it's my last week at work before going on a 2 months hiatus in the land of all yellow skinned hairless people of super size brains and peanut size minds. it's all the more exciting when realizing that i will be playing the role of a mini embassador (due to my size) and bringing in 4 young and curious american raised friends to see the ancient ways of china and TASTE what it has to offer. at the tip of my excitement i found the satellite image of my house where i grew up on google. and of course being a big computer geek i my house, my grandma's house, and my elementary school and remembered to color-code them as well. and here it is as my first official entry with actual text for you to digest at your own pace.

dining room / kitchen

it's about time...

that someone speaks us for the taters, especially the overcooked ones.
